Course Description
Restricted to M.F.A. Documentary Film students. This course offers students an understanding of contemporary practices in cinematography as they relate to documentary film production. Through close analysis of a variety of examples and a series of practical assignments with cameras, lighting and working with color, the students will gain a foundation of craft they can apply to their filmmaking. Offered every other year to both cohorts.
