Program Overview
For graduate-level students, the department offers resources and experience learning from and working with world-renowned faculty involved in research on ecology, neurobiology, population biology, plant and animal physiology, biochemistry, immunology, cell and developmental biology, genetics, and molecular biology.
The MS degree program offers general or specialized study to individuals seeking biologically-oriented coursework and undergraduate science majors wishing to increase or update their science background or obtain advanced research experience.
Coterm Admissions Information
To be eligible to apply, students must have 120 units towards graduation as shown on the undergraduate transcript, including credit earned from transfer credit, Advanced Placement exams, and other external test credit. Graduate coursework from other institutions may not be transferred to this program.
