The Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources develops the knowledge, skills, perspectives, and ways of thinking to understand and help solve the world’s most significant environmental and resource sustainability challenges. E-IPER strives to be a model for interdisciplinary graduate education. E-IPER offers the following degrees: a PhD in Environment and Resources; a Joint MS for MBA students in Stanford’s Graduate School of Business or JD students in the Stanford Law School; and a Dual MS for master’s students across Stanford’s seven schools, MD students in the School of Medicine, or for PhD students in another department. E-IPER’s home is the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, and affiliated faculty come from all seven Stanford schools.
