Program Overview

The Management Science and Engineering undergraduate program prepares students to create solutions to pressing societal problems by integrating and pushing the frontiers of operations research, economics, and organization science. The program builds on foundational courses in calculus and linear algebra. The undergraduate minor allows students to explore some of the undergraduate programs in MS&E to complement their undergraduate major.

All core courses must be taken for a letter grade. Students completing a calculus-based probability course, such as CS 109 or STATS 118 for their major, may substitute another letter-graded MS&E course for MS&E 120.

AND
Complete any two 100-level or higher MS&E courses for three or more units each.

Both required elective courses must be taken for a letter grade.
