MODLAN-MIN - Modern Languages (Minor)

Program Overview
The Division of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages offers an undergraduate minor in Modern Languages that permits students to demonstrate strength in two distinct modern languages and their literatures. The minor draws upon courses housed within the DLCL, East Asian Languages and Cultures, the Stanford Language Center, and the Special Language Program.
Preparing for the Minor
Prior to declaring the minor, students are encouraged to complete the Modern Languages worksheet to the best of their abilities before meeting with the program head to approve the plan going forward. Once the DLCL Student Service Officer in Pigott Hall, room 128, has received a copy of the signed plan, the student should formally declare the minor in Axess. If any changes need to be made later on, the student should always alert the SSO and program head to make sure that any changes still meet the minor’s requirements.
