Cardiothoracic Surgery Clerkship
Course Description
VISITING: Open to visitors. TYPE OF CLERKSHIP: Selective 2. DESCRIPTION: In this clerkship students participate with one of the two cardiothoracic surgical teams on rounds, in the operating room, in the outpatient cardiothoracic surgery clinic, and in joint weekly conferences with the medical cardiology and pediatric cardiology services. PREREQUISITES: Surgery 300A or final-year student. PERIODS AVAILABLE: 1-12. full time for 4 weeks, 2 students per period.
