Course Description

This course will focus on the study of sedimentary rocks and how they are recorders of the earth's ancient surface. Topics will concentrate on clastic sedimentology and facies analysis, fluid transport processes, and links between climate, tectonics, erosion, and deposition. Filed Trip Component: There will be two half-day field trips during lab hours and one Saturday field trip.
