ANTHR-PHD - Anthropology (PhD)

Under the supervision of a faculty advisor and committee, the Department allows PhD students to develop a flexible program reflecting special research interests chosen by the student.

The PhD is conferred upon candidates who have demonstrated substantial scholarship and the ability to conduct independent research and analysis in Anthropology. By completing advanced coursework and rigorous skills training, students in the doctoral program prepare to make original contributions to Anthropology knowledge and interpret and present the results of such research.
