Program Learning Outcomes

The Stanford Arts Institute expects graduates of the Interdisciplinary Arts Minor to be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes. These learning outcomes are used in evaluating students and the Institute’s undergraduate program. Students are expected to:

-Create and execute an interdisciplinary arts project that positions art practice as a mode of research;

-Identify, analyze, and cite secondary materials that support their creative research project;

-Demonstrate competence in goal setting, self-assessment, time management, and dealing with creative setbacks;

-Analyze and critique artworks in a variety of forms, media, and genres.
