Program Learning Outcomes
The PhD is conferred upon candidates who have produced substantial scholarship and have demonstrated the ability to conduct independent research and analysis in Classics. Through the completion of advanced coursework, rigorous skills training and a dissertation project, the doctoral program prepares students to make original contributions to the knowledge of Classics and interpret and present research results.
