Program Learning Outcomes
The purpose of the doctoral program is to train students in substantial scholarship and the conducting of independent research and analysis in East Asian Languages and Cultures. Through completion of advanced coursework and rigorous skills training, the doctoral program prepares students to make original contributions to the knowledge of East Asian Languages and Cultures and to interpret and present research results.
