ECON-BS - Economics (BS)

All courses must be taken at Stanford in California. Students may petition the director of undergraduate studies for exceptions, but under no circumstances can more than 10 units of credits for courses taken elsewhere, in total, count toward the Economics BS degree. The department does not give credit for internships.

Students scoring a five on the advanced placement microeconomics and advanced placement macroeconomics exams may petition the director of undergraduate studies to waive the course Principles of Economics course requirement. Students do not receive unit credit for placing out of course Principles of Economics.
