Preparing for the Major
We recommend that all students interested in Energy Science & Engineering plan their cognate courses (math, physics, engineering fundamentals) over their first 3 years of study. The gateway course to the major is Energy 131.
Declaring the Major
Complete ENERGY Major Program Proposal.
Schedule meeting with Director of Undergraduate Studies, Prof. Tony Kovscek to go over proposal and questions about the major.
Submit program proposal to Student Services.
Declare major (ENERGY-BS) or minor (ENERGY-MIN) in Axess.
