Download as PDF
Program Overview
The undergraduate minor in German Studies aims to provide students with German language skills, the ability to interpret literature and other cultural material, and the capacity to analyze the societies of the German-speaking countries of Central Europe.
Preparing for the Minor
Prior to declaring the minor, students are encouraged to complete the German Studies minor worksheet to the best of their abilities before meeting with the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Lea Pao, to approve the intended course of study. Once the DLCL Student Service Officer in Pigott Hall, room 128, has received a copy of the signed worksheet, the student should formally declare the minor in Axess. If any changes need to be made later on, the student should always alert the SSO and the program advisor to ensure that courses meet the minor requirements.
