The PhD in Iberian and Latin American Cultures is conferred upon candidates who have demonstrated substantial scholarship and the ability to conduct independent research and analysis in the areas and traditions taught by the department. By completing advanced coursework and rigorous skills training, the doctoral program prepares students to develop innovative research and present the results of this research to the world in compelling ways.
