Program Learning Outcomes
The PhD is conferred upon candidates who have demonstrated substantial scholarship and the ability to conduct independent research and analysis using the tools of Physics. By completing advanced coursework and rigorous skills training, doctoral students in the program prepare to make original contributions to the knowledge of physics and interpret and present such research results.
