Program Learning Outcomes
Learning outcomes are used in evaluating students and the Symbolic Systems Program. The program expects its undergraduate majors to be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
Ability to apply formal, philosophical, and/or computational analysis to experimental designs and data and vice versa
Ability to understand multiple formal, philosophical, and/or computational frameworks and how they relate
Ability to map real-world problems or observed phenomena onto formal, philosophical, and/or computational frameworks and vice versa
