Program Learning Outcomes
The program expects its undergraduate majors to be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes. These learning outcomes are used in evaluating students and the Program on Urban Studies. Students are expected to demonstrate the ability to:
Formulate a research or policy question or project and assess its significance in relation to one or more relevant scholarly, professional, or theoretical literatures in the interdisciplinary field of Urban Studies.
Collect data to answer the proposed research question, or carry out the project, in accordance with ethical and professional standards in Urban Studies.
Analyze a problem and draw correct inferences using qualitative, quantitative, and/or geospatial analysis
Communicate clearly and persuasively in written, oral, and visual formats.
